Thousands from around the world have come to know Joy from her role as Laneah, the female lead in the film The Testaments: Of One Fold and One Shepherd; and from her role as Mary in the Conference Center Production of Savior of The World. Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, from her childhood she has loved performing. Joy attended BYU where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music, Dance, and Theater. She has performed for audiences around the world as a member of BYU’s Young Ambassadors and as a lead singer for Holland America Cruise Lines. After performing as a studio vocalist on numerous CD projects, Joy released her debut solo CD There Is Hope fall of 2003. The CD received not only critical praise, but response to its very personal messages of hope through the Atonement of Christ, from around the world, has been tremendous.
